To take this photo, I took off the lens of my camera and turned it around. When you look through the regular lens backwards, everything is enlarged and there's a VERY shallow depth of field.
The variety of colours and textures in these plants is just awesome. Raoul voted for this photo to make it onto the site today because of the vibrant colours.
This is the bud of one of the purple flowers I've posted several pictures of in past days. I love that there are always some flowers blooming here. It's lovely to have the colour of the flowers through the gray, rainy winter months.
